Second Grade Color wheel.

So of course I love love love Pinterest. There are million and one ideas to explore. This idea for the second grade color wheel came from no other then Pinterest. I found the art teacher's website( Tiny artroom) the a did this project with her class so I thought it would be great for my students. Second Grade is doing an umbrella color wheel.  I walked them through the drawing on my lovely wonderful Promethean Board and then I rolled out the paint palettes. ( They prepared their tables to paint of course before any paint was given) Students love to paint! We just started I will post some pictures when they are done but for now here are the begining stages.
