3D and Shading

As we end the nine weeks I decide to do one more 3D project with my second graders. I taught them how to shade the design. I explain why we use shading in certain drawings and how to create designs with using curve lines

Kindergarten Perspective

I just love doing these landscapes with the kindergartners. We might as well end the nine weeks with a bang.

Radial Symmetry

I have decided to finish out the nine weeks with a radial symmetry lesson. The first graders learned about radial symmetry through a slide show and examples. After that we went over how to create a radial design. They did a fantastic job.

Down the road

We are almost done with the 2nd nine weeks and the Fifth Grade perspective drawings are just about complete. They have been working so hard. I also had them practice for several weeks.

Floating Spheres

Third grade has practice these spheres long enough. This year I have decided to let them practice a little more. I also missed 3 weeks with them so this project will be the only one we get to for this nine weeks.
